North Shore Animal Hospital was started in 1982 by David A. Dunn, D.V.M. as a solo practice. Today in our new location is a 12,000 square foot facility which opened in 1988. We are very well equipped with 7 doctors, 29 supporting team members, ultrasound, surgical laser, in-house lab, endoscopy, video vet scope, radiology, ESWT, dental unit, dental radiography, etc.
Our health care team is highly motivated offering the most progressive and up-to-date treatment for pets. We currently see patients from sixty-five cities and towns in our area. Our hospital provides services to numerous humane orgainizations including MSPCA, Animal Rescue League of Boston, Greyhound Rescue, and more than a dozen small groups.
We are committed to continuing education and training to better serve our patients and their owners, our health care team and the community.

Along with our seven veterinarians, additional support is provided by sixteen technicians, five receptionists, four kennel assistants, two administrative assistants, two managers and one cat.
